Compact, Premium Grinder

Built for life in a suitcase or kitchen, the Timemore Slim Plus is slim enough to fit into an AeroPress
plunger (when the crank arm is removed) but has a hopper roomy enough to accommodate coffee for full 12-ounce
brews. Moreover, the Slim Plus is fitted with Timemore's in-house designed and manufactured stainless steel
burrs, so it is capable of delivering consistent grinds efficiently from Turkish fine through Chemex
coarse.

Built For Quality

Like all Timemore grinders, the Slim Plus is an incredibly affordable grinder given its premium materials:
black walnut, aluminum, and stainless steel. The body, for example, with its easy-to-grip diamond texture, is
cut from a single block of aluminum, making the grinder robust but also providing a true center column for the
stainless steel axle and dual bearings. As a result, there is no lateral play in the burrs. The interior struts
have also been set deep within the aluminum main barrel, a design decision that makes it easier to load beans.
At the bottom of the axle is a set of 38mm conical steel burrs designed by Timemore for all brewing methods.
The burrs deliver on both ends: clarity for pour over and fines for espresso. What's more, the burrs can grind
at espresso-fine at a fraction of the pace of many other burrs on the market.

Consistency

The Slim Plus, like <a href=https://prima-coffee.com/equipment/timemore/"/manufacturers/timemore">all Timemore grinders, has a stepped grind adjustment system.
The grind size is set by turning a dial on the bottom of the center burr. The dial, which is on a wheel
attached to the axle, pushes the center burr closer to the outer burr when turned clockwise (creating a finer
grind), and pulls the burr away from the outer burr when turned counterclockwise (creating a coarser grind).
The system is easy to learn, especially since each "step" is accompanied by an audible click. The Slim Plus
offers a full grind range, with espresso starting around 7 clicks from zero and pour over starting at around
15. See the manual for recommendations.
